Spray Drying
The spray drying nozzles utilize a stainless steel main body, with hardened stainless steel or alloy and jewel inserts. They are crafted with an internally embedded spiral guiding cavity. Under high pressure, the liquid passes through the guiding blades, forming a centrifugal hollow mist. The droplets are very small, allowing for high contact with the hot air and are widely used in spray drying equipment.
The method involves atomizing a dilute material in a drying chamber, whereupon contact with hot air, the moisture rapidly vaporizes, resulting in dried products. This technique enables direct drying of solutions and emulsions into powdered or granular products, eliminating the need for evaporation and grinding processes.
